The Apotheke Painting Studio outreach program is offering the community its first remote (online) painting marathon. Marathons have been examples of challenges proposed by artist educators, who seek dialogue and rigor in the creative process, deepening the space of teaching and learning in the field of visual arts. In this first edition, we will follow the experimental model of three work shifts in an immersive environment, in an online space, using platforms such as Zoom and Padlet to be together even conditioned by the distance imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The marathon's methodology aims to continue daily study through work in the studio – in its different formats and modes – from the perspective and dialogues of painting and its media. It is an encounter with pictorial production, the construction of artistic thought in an immersive way. Time and space dedicated to painting, with mediation and guidance for the development of the work.
